Met Police Release Details of BMW Linked to Brixton Stabbing
The Metropolitan Police have released details regarding a black BMW 330E estate car recovered in connection with a serious stabbing incident in Brixton, South London. The attack occurred on Acre Lane around 2:10 am on May 2, 2026, leaving a 33-year-old man fighting for his life. Although the victim was rushed to the hospital, he has since returned to a stable condition. Investigators believe the vehicle, bearing the license plate FM21 UKW, was driven to the scene at approximately 2:00 am and sped off towards Clapham Park Road shortly after the assault. Detectives are actively appealing for witnesses, specifically requesting dashcam or doorbell footage from residents in Acre Lane, Clapham Park Road, and Kings Avenue, to help identify three suspects captured on CCTV. The incident is being investigated alongside a separate shooting on Coldharbour Lane that occurred an hour earlier nearby, though the direct link between the two crimes remains under review. Detective Sergeant Daniel Beek emphasized the brutality of the attack and urged anyone with information to contact the police via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
