Manchester United's pursuit of £70m winger Iliman Ndiaye stalled by inability to sell Marcus Rashford
Manchester United's efforts to sign Everton's left-sided attacker Iliman Ndiaye have hit a snag because the club has not yet offloaded Marcus Rashford. The Senegal international, valued at around £70 million, is also a target for Aston Villa, who have already made contact with Everton. United's interest, confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, cannot progress until Rashford's future is resolved, as adding another expensive forward in the same position would increase the wage bill and create competition. Ndiaye scored six goals and provided three assists in 32 Premier League appearances last season, with his dribbling and work rate highly regarded. Everton are in no rush to sell, and United may need to move quickly or consider cheaper alternatives to avoid a drawn-out transfer saga.
