Manchester United in advanced talks with Juventus over Joshua Zirkzee loan with £30m buy option
Manchester United are in advanced negotiations with Juventus over a loan deal for striker Joshua Zirkzee, which includes a £30 million purchase option. The 25-year-old Dutch forward has struggled at Old Trafford since joining in 2024, scoring only five goals in 56 Premier League appearances. Juventus turned to Zirkzee after failing to agree a fee with Paris Saint-Germain for Kolo Muani. Zirkzee, who previously played in Italy for Parma and Bologna, views Serie A as a better tactical fit. United are reportedly willing to sanction the deal despite paying £36.5 million for him two years ago, acknowledging the reduced fee reflects his inconsistent performances. Roma also hold interest, but Juventus are the most serious suitors. Zirkzee is currently behind Benjamin Sesko and Mateus Cunha in United's pecking order.
