Manchester City extends Abdukodir Khusanov's contract until 2031
Manchester City has extended the contract of Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov until 2031, securing his future at the club. The 22-year-old, who joined from RC Lens in January 2025 for €40 million, had a previous deal running until 2029. Khusanov expressed his ambition to impress manager Enzo Maresca and earn a regular starting spot. He played 37 matches for City last season and recently participated in the World Cup with Uzbekistan in North America. The club also faces upcoming contract decisions, as Rodri, Jack Grealish, and Mateo Kovacic are set to become free agents next summer.
