Man Utd Transfer Boost: Alex Scott Rejects Bournemouth Contract; Zirkzee Attracting Juventus Interest
Manchester United's summer transfer activity is intensifying under new manager Michael Carrick. The club has received a boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, who has rejected a new contract offer. Scott, 22, is valued at around £60m and is a target for United's midfield rebuild alongside AS Roma's Manu Kone. Meanwhile, United forward Joshua Zirkzee is attracting interest from Juventus, with the Serie A club reportedly sending 'texts, calls and video calls' to the Dutch striker. Zirkzee, who has struggled in the Premier League with only five goals in 56 appearances, could return to Italy. United have already signed Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Karl Darlow this summer, and are also looking at Tottenham prospect Tynan Thompson for the future.
