Lyon Offers €3.5 Million for South Korean Midfielder Bae Jun-ho, Stoke City Demands €6 Million
French media Foot Mercato reports that Ligue 1 club Lyon has submitted an initial offer of €3.5 million for Stoke City's South Korean attacking midfielder Bae Jun-ho. The 22-year-old, who can also play as a left winger, joined the Championship club in 2023 and has made 134 appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 14 assists. With one year left on his contract, Bae is considered an attractive target. The Daegu-born player, reportedly selected for the 2026 World Cup squad, is interested in the move and is waiting for the clubs to agree. Stoke City expects a final offer slightly below €6 million. Lyon is actively strengthening its squad ahead of the Champions League third qualifying round.
