Ludwig Göransson's 'The Odyssey' Soundtrack Hits No. 1 on U.K. Charts
Ludwig Göransson, the Emmy-, Grammy- and Oscar-winning composer, has achieved his first No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Soundtrack Albums chart with the score for Christopher Nolan's blockbuster film 'The Odyssey'. The almost entirely instrumental soundtrack, which features the song 'When I'm Home' by James Blake and Travis Scott, debuted at the top of the chart, surpassing his previous career high of No. 2 set earlier in 2026 with 'Star Wars – The Mandalorian and Grogu'. The album also gave Göransson his first top 10 on the Official Album Downloads chart, landing at No. 6, and reached a new career peak on the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 27. The soundtrack additionally charted on the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums rankings. Göransson's previous Nolan collaborations, 'Tenet' and 'Oppenheimer', had peaked at Nos. 4 and 5 on the soundtrack chart respectively.
