Liverpool prepare opening offer for Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola
Liverpool are preparing an opening offer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola after talks with his representatives. The 23-year-old France international is open to a Premier League move and has turned down a contract extension at PSG, where he has fallen down the pecking order. PSG value Barcola at approximately £145 million, which would be a British record transfer fee. Liverpool, managed by Andoni Iraola, see Barcola as a leading target to strengthen their attack after already signing Victor Muñoz from Osasuna and Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes for £55 million this summer. The club is also looking to bolster defensive options. Liverpool had previously targeted Yan Diomande, but he is set to join Real Madrid after PSG pulled out of a deal for the Leipzig winger.
