Leon Black Says Epstein Introduced Him To Elon Musk, Denies Friendship Before Storming Out Of House Hearing
Billionaire Leon Black, in a voluntary interview with the House Oversight Committee investigating Jeffrey Epstein, claimed Epstein introduced him to Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Deepak Chopra. Black denied any friendship with Epstein despite signing a birthday card 'Love and Kisses, dear friend.' He also denied knowledge of Epstein's abuse. The interview abruptly ended after Black was served a subpoena for his non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with women who accused him of sexual misconduct. Black's attorney argued the NDAs were confidential, leading to a heated exchange. Black is legally required to turn over the NDAs by next week and will sit for a second, subpoenaed interview in September. Forbes values Black's net worth at $13 billion.
