Jared Leto Accused of Sexual Misconduct by Four Women Who Were Teenagers

A new BBC documentary, 'Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,' features allegations of sexual misconduct against actor and musician Jared Leto from four women who were teenagers at the time of the incidents. One woman, Etta, said she met Leto in 2014 when she was 16 and he was 42, and their conversations quickly turned sexual. Another woman, Isabel, alleged that in 2002, when she was 17, Leto invited her to his hotel room, got in the shower, and forced her to touch him. A third woman said she had sex with Leto at 17, and he dismissed a discussion about the age of consent. A fourth alleged Leto threatened her with sexual assault when she was 19. Four additional women reported receiving sexually explicit phone calls from him. A former employee of Leto's band, 30 Seconds to Mars, described witnessing him bring young girls to a recording house, including one instance where a girl's parents dropped her off. Leto has denied all allegations, stating he has never sexually assaulted anyone. The documentary includes accounts from a total of 10 women, nine of whom are speaking publicly for the first time.
