IHCL Q1 net profit rises 21% to ₹358 crore
Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL), the Tata Group's hospitality arm, reported a 21% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹358 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. Consolidated revenue grew 15% to ₹2,419 crore. MD & CEO Puneet Chhatwal highlighted this as the 17th consecutive best-ever quarter, with EBITDA reaching ₹753 crore and margins expanding 80 basis points to 31.1%. Growth was driven by 14% RevPAR growth in domestic like-for-like hotels, a 22% increase in growth businesses revenue, and 26% higher management fee income. The company signed 20 new properties, bringing its portfolio to 645 hotels with a pipeline of 263. It opened 11 hotels, including a Taj in Frankfurt and one in Kruger National Park, South Africa, and migrated 15 hotels from ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality into its portfolio.
