Haryana@60: New MSME Policy Heralds a New Era of Investment, Innovation and Exports
On the occasion of Haryana's 60th year of statehood, the state government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has launched a comprehensive MSME and Export Promotion Policy. The policy includes 60 new initiatives aimed at strengthening the entire industrial value chain, from investment and technology upgradation to exports and green manufacturing. Key targets include attracting over Rs. 55,000 crore in investment in the MSME manufacturing sector, generating more than five lakh new jobs, and doubling Haryana's exports over the next five years. The policy emphasizes artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, research and development, quality certification, e-commerce exports, and skill development. It is built around six pillars: financial assistance, infrastructure and ease of doing business, quality and technology upgradation, access to global markets, green and sustainable industrial development, and skill development and employment. The initiative aligns with national programs like 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India'.
