Harry Wilson makes Leeds debut in 3-2 pre-season defeat by Wrexham
Wales attacking midfielder Harry Wilson made his first appearance for Leeds United in a 3-2 pre-season friendly loss to Wrexham in Tampa, Florida. Wilson, who joined Leeds on a free transfer after his Fulham contract expired, played the second half. Wrexham took an early lead through Kieffer Moore in the first minute. Leeds' Joel Piroe missed a penalty but later equalized with a backheel from a Sean Longstaff pass. Bailey Cadamarteri put Wrexham back ahead before Longstaff leveled again for Leeds. In the second half, Sam Smith scored the winner for Wrexham, having also netted the winner against Manchester United in a previous pre-season game. Wilson had a late chance for Leeds but shot over the bar.
