Hantavirus Cruise Evacuees Return to Australia for Quarantine

Six passengers evacuated from the MV Hondius cruise ship, which experienced a hantavirus outbreak, are arriving in Perth, Australia, after a flight from the Netherlands. The group comprises four Australian citizens, one permanent resident, and one New Zealand citizen. Although all six individuals have tested negative for the virus, they will undergo a mandatory three-week quarantine at the Centre for National Resilience in Bullsbrook as a precautionary measure.
