Guangdong Media: National Football Team's November Friendly Matches Set for Guangzhou Tianhe, Three Teams Invited
According to Guangzhou Daily, the Chinese Football Association has finalized the national team's training opponents for the second half of 2024, ahead of the 2027 Asian Cup. In September and October, four international A-level friendlies will be held at home against Uzbekistan, North Korea, Tajikistan, and Palestine, chosen for stylistic similarity to Asian Cup group opponents. In November, the national team will train and play two international A-level friendlies in Guangzhou, forming a four-nation tournament with three invited foreign teams. The matches will be held at Tianhe Stadium, marking the first time in seven years that the venue hosts an international A-level match involving the Chinese national team.
