Grindr, the popular social networking app for the LGBTQ+ community, has released new data identifying the top travel destinations for its users in 2026. Coinciding with the launch of Season 3 of its video series "Host or Travel," the company analyzed global in-app behavior to determine where users are connecting most frequently. Paris emerged as the number one destination for gay travelers this year, surpassing other major hubs. The list of most-visited cities also includes Rio de Janeiro, New York City, Bangkok, São Paulo, and Berlin. Beyond overall visitation, the data highlights specific behavioral trends: the "Right Now" feature sees highest usage in Taiwan, the Philippines, Lima, Buenos Aires, and Medellín, indicating immediate meetups. Late-night activity peaks in Manila, Taipei, and Buenos Aires, while early morning engagement is strongest in San Salvador, Colombo, and Kathmandu. Grindr’s CMO, Tristan Pineiro, emphasized that the app serves as a crucial digital home for finding community and safe spaces while traveling.
