Getafe Comeback to Beat Tenerife in Preseason Friendly
Getafe secured a 2-1 comeback victory over CD Tenerife in their second preseason match, winning the Ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife Trophy at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium. Tenerife took the lead in the 38th minute through Víctor Moreno, who finished a cross with his left foot. Getafe, fielding a lineup with six reserve team players initially, struggled to respond in the first half. After making six substitutions at halftime, including the introduction of key players like Uche, Zaid Romero, and Martín Satriano, Getafe leveled the score in the 53rd minute when Satriano converted a penalty. In the 90th minute, Zaid Romero scored from a corner kick delivered by Kiko Femenía to complete the turnaround. The victory maintains Getafe's perfect preseason record, following a previous win against Reading. Getafe's next preseason fixture is against Real Valladolid.
