Gary Neville and David Beckham's Salford City Sign 12 New Youth Scholars
Gary Neville and Sir David Beckham, co-owners of Salford City and former Manchester United legends, have officially signed 12 new first-year scholars for the 2026/27 season. The club announced the intake on its official website, including goalkeeper Dylan Lovell, defenders Noah Stockton, Archie Oldham, Daniel Akinsete, and Aiden Alleyne; midfielders Max Burgess, Cherif Diaby, Noah Hill, and Riley Crawford; and forwards Allen Ehibrown, Jensen Heywood, and Louie Backhouse. Several players arrive from professional academies such as Crewe Alexandra, Burnley, Preston North End, and Blackburn Rovers. The new scholars will begin preparations for the upcoming campaign as Neville and Beckham continue investing in the club's long-term future.
