Fairmont International School Vietnam Officially Launches, Bringing 70-Year U.S. Education Legacy to Southeast Asia
Fairmont International School Vietnam (FISV), the first Fairmont school in Southeast Asia, officially launched for the 2026-2027 academic year in Hanoi. The school brings over 70 years of educational excellence from California to Vietnam, offering internationally aligned academic pathways based on U.S. Common Core Standards with Advanced Placement courses planned. FISV also offers programs following Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training requirements. The school is part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), connecting it to over 110 schools across 25 countries. An official launch ceremony is scheduled for August 13, 2026, at the school's campus in Hanoi, featuring government, diplomatic, and education representatives. Superintendent Allen Stanley McInnis emphasized the goal of building a vibrant multicultural community.
