Emery a 'Lifesaver' for Garnacho as Aston Villa Targets Loan Move
Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, is reportedly interested in a loan deal for Chelsea forward Alejandro Garnacho, according to British media. Garnacho, who joined Chelsea from Manchester United for €46 million last summer, has struggled for consistency, scoring eight goals in 43 appearances. The Argentine international has not played for his national team since November 2024. The potential move would see Garnacho go in the opposite direction of Morgan Rogers, who is close to joining Chelsea under new manager Xabi Alonso. Aston Villa has also made record signings this window, including Johan Manzambi for €61 million and Joao Gomes for €44 million.
