Farage also addressed scrutiny over a separate £5 million donation from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne, denying any strings were attached. Musk responded directly on his platform X, stating simply, “Farage is lying.” The dispute intensifies existing tensions, as Musk had previously criticized Farage’s leadership capabilities and called for his removal, partly due to Farage’s refusal to align with far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whom Musk supports.
