Eliyan raises $145 million at $1 billion valuation to ease AI chip data bottlenecks
Eliyan, a Santa Clara-based startup, announced a $145 million Series C funding round at a $1 billion valuation to address data transfer bottlenecks in AI chips. The round was led by Seligman Ventures and included strategic investors Cisco Systems and Lumentum. Eliyan develops technology to improve data movement between AI processors, which currently operate at only 30-40% utilization due to connectivity limits. The company offers both licensing and chiplet components for custom AI chip makers. Eliyan expects initial chiplet shipments this year and forecasts hundreds of millions in revenue by 2027, up from low millions in 2025. Former Mellanox board member Umesh Padval will join Eliyan's board.
