Dubai DET partners with Julius Baer to support global investors
Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has partnered with Julius Baer (Middle East) to assist overseas investors, business owners, and family offices in establishing or expanding their activities in Dubai. The collaboration aims to create formal pathways for ultra-high-net-worth individuals under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. Julius Baer's head of Region Emerging Markets, Rahul Malhotra, highlighted the bank's long-standing presence and confidence in Dubai as a wealth management hub. DET's Hadi Badri emphasized Dubai's policy stability and long-term economic planning. The partnership seeks to convert strategic interest into structured investment outcomes. Julius Baer reported assets under management of SFr547 billion ($666.9 billion) as of June 2026 and a 128% increase in net profit to SFr673 million in the first half of 2026.
