Dominican President Abinader Returns After Diplomatic Visits to Panama and Guyana

Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader has returned to Santo Domingo following official state visits to Panama and Guyana, aimed at strengthening regional economic ties and attracting foreign investment. In Panama, President Abinader served as the keynote speaker at the World Free Zones Congress, where he highlighted the Dominican Republic's competitive advantages for manufacturing and technology sectors. He also held bilateral discussions with Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino and local business leaders to enhance trade and export opportunities between the two nations. Subsequently, the President traveled to Georgetown, Guyana, where he was received by Prime Minister Mark Phillips and Foreign Minister Hugh Todd before meeting with President Mohamed Irfaan Ali. The visit culminated in the signing of a significant bilateral agreement focused on advancing cooperation in oil exploration. Upon his return, President Abinader resumed duties at the National Palace.
