Dar Chairs High-Level Meeting to Review Tax Policy for Upcoming Federal Budget

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level committee meeting on Thursday to review tax policy proposals for Pakistan's upcoming federal budget. The session, held under the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, focused on designing balanced fiscal measures that support economic growth while expanding the national tax base. Key objectives included enhancing revenue collection, encouraging investment, and ensuring minimal burden on compliant taxpayers.
