Cyprus Publisher Digital Vortex to Debut DREADMOOR at Japan's BitSummit PUNCH
Digital Vortex Entertainment, a Cyprus-based independent publisher, has announced its participation in BitSummit PUNCH, Japan’s leading indie game festival, scheduled for May 23–24, 2026, in Kyoto. The company will present DREADMOOR, an upcoming dark first-person fishing adventure developed by Dream Dock, marking the game's first public reveal with Japanese localization. This strategic move aims to engage directly with the local market and international audience. The playable demo will showcase core fishing mechanics, a dynamic day-night cycle, and narrative systems focused on infection and madness within a flooded, post-catastrophic world. DREADMOOR is set for release on PC via Steam in the fourth quarter of 2026 as Dream Dock’s debut title. Digital Vortex, part of Utmost Games, features industry veterans from major titles like Atomic Heart and PUBG. Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan-based developer Dream Dock comprises former senior staff from companies such as Playrix and Saber Interactive. CEO Alexey Izotov expressed enthusiasm about sharing their passionate project with the community and gathering feedback during the event.
