Copper & Kings Gets Backing from FMCG Investor Neace Ventures
Copper & Kings American Brandy Company, a Louisville-based distiller, has secured an undisclosed investment from US private-equity firm Neace Ventures. The funds will be used to accelerate brand momentum, support its distributor network, and boost presence in high-priority markets. Since being acquired by Bourdon Spirits Company from Constellation Brands in August 2025, Copper & Kings has narrowed its distribution from 42 states to six, with Indiana as its newest priority market entered in June. The company reported a 30% increase in wholesale sales in the first half of 2026. Rob Bourdon, founder and CEO of Bourdon Spirits, said the investment allows faster growth without compromising their approach. John Neace, founder of Neace Ventures, praised the brand's authenticity. Copper & Kings also produces absinthe, gin, and liqueurs.
