Chelsea Winger Mudryk Sued for Breach of Image Rights Contract, £2.5 Million in Assets Frozen
Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who joined Chelsea in January 2023 for a €100 million transfer fee, is being sued by JJDS Management Limited for breach of an image rights contract signed in the same month. The company claims Mudryk failed to pay a percentage of his advertising and commercial income, resulting in losses of over £5 million (approximately €6 million). The High Court in London has ordered the freezing of £2.5 million (€3 million) in Mudryk's bank accounts. JJDS Management founder Femis Segirov stated that Mudryk's funds and assets are frozen, and the company is not worried about the process as his credit line is fully secured. The case highlights ongoing legal complications for the high-profile footballer.
