P.F. Chang’s Promotes Patrick Benson to Director of Marketing Communications
P.F. Chang's has promoted Patrick Benson to Director of Marketing Communications, a newly created leadership role that establishes the brand's dedicated Marketing Communications function. Benson, who previously led social media, influencer marketing, paid social, and community engagement strategies, will now oversee public relations, corporate communications, influencer strategy, and social media. The promotion follows a year of strong commercial and cultural momentum for the chain, during which campaigns involving over 100 creators generated more than 200 million video views and $11 million in earned media value, contributing to one of the brand's best sales years. Chief Marketing Officer Holly Smith praised Benson's ability to integrate social, influencer, PR, and brand storytelling. Benson brings over 15 years of experience from major entertainment and restaurant brands including NBC, FOX, CBS, and El Pollo Loco, and has been recognized by Business Insider, Nation's Restaurant News, and Brand Innovators.
