Carahsoft wins $12M Air Force contract to assess ICBM supply chain risks
Carahsoft, a Reston, Virginia-based government technology reseller, has been awarded a $12 million firm-fixed-price contract by the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center to provide software services for assessing risks and gaps in the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) industrial base and supply chain. The contract, managed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, aims to support the aging Minuteman III missile fleet, which has been operational for over 50 years. The software will help identify suppliers at risk of discontinuing critical parts, a growing challenge as the military awaits deployment of the next-generation Sentinel missile. Only $731,250 in fiscal year 2026 funds is initially obligated, with additional funding expected through task orders over the contract's roughly three-year lifespan. The award follows a similar $31 million contract to AIR (formerly Govini) for a related ICBM supply chain platform.
