Captain D’s opens new seafood restaurant in Corsicana, Texas
US fast-casual seafood chain Captain D's has expanded its Texas footprint by opening a new restaurant in Corsicana, marking its first location between the Dallas and Houston metro areas. The freestanding 1,950ft² outlet seats 44 guests and features the company's coastal-inspired design. It is owned and managed by multi-unit franchisee Joseph Omobogie, who also operates other brands including Golden Chick and Marco's Pizza. Captain D's chief development officer Brad Reed highlighted Omobogie's growth-oriented approach and noted the opening supports the chain's broader Texas strategy to build connectivity between major markets. The chain, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, now operates over 530 restaurants across 23 US states and three countries. This follows a January opening in Gainesville, Florida.
