Building Smarter Grids: MIT Study Shows Why Renewable Energy Location Matters

Under historic climate planning, both regions face dramatic failures due to compound events like heatwaves that spike demand while reducing renewable output. The study highlights that as the world mitigates climate change with renewables, it can also adapt by using future weather projections in power system planning.
