Boomi Announces Strategic Partnerships with Red Hat and Acquisition of Lunar.dev
Boomi has unveiled a strategic collaboration with Red Hat to deliver an integrated stack for agentic AI, aiming to help organizations manage data sovereignty and optimize AI costs. Announced at BoomiWorld 2026 in Chicago, the partnership allows enterprises to run AI models securely within their own environments, preventing data leakage to public models. Additionally, Boomi expanded its partnerships with Couchbase to accelerate AI agent production and with ServiceNow to enhance data activation capabilities within the ServiceNow AI platform. Concurrently, Boomi announced plans to acquire Lunar.dev, a Tel Aviv-based innovator in AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateways. This acquisition, expected to close within 30 to 40 days, will extend Boomi’s AI gateway capabilities, providing centralized and decentralized control layers for managing enterprise AI interactions. The move addresses growing enterprise concerns regarding AI complexity, security, and cost predictability, offering a unified platform to transition from pilot projects to scalable production.
