Best Brands Opens New Store in Santa Ana Trade Center, Costa Rica
Costa Rican footwear and accessories retailer Best Brands has expanded its presence by opening a new store at the Santa Ana Trade Center. This launch marks the company's 35th sales point in the country and reinforces its strategic focus on the western part of San Jose. The project involved an investment of approximately $450,000 and covers 670 square meters, designed to offer a comfortable and dynamic shopping environment. The store features footwear for men, women, and children from international brands such as Sam Edelman, Naturalizer, and Rockport. The opening has created 12 direct jobs and an estimated 30 indirect positions. Company executives highlighted the store's unique interior design, including a mural by artist Mariela Montoya Sandoval, aimed at enhancing the customer experience. The choice of Santa Ana reflects the district's growth as a key commercial hub serving neighboring areas. Best Brands continues to integrate its physical retail expansion with its e-commerce platform, which was launched in 2014, while evaluating further opportunities for growth and strategic relocations across Costa Rica.
