Bayern Munich Renews Long-Term Contract with 17-Year-Old Midfielder Erblin Osmani
Bayern Munich officially announced the early renewal of a long-term contract with 17-year-old midfielder Erblin Osmani. Osmani, a Munich native, joined Bayern's youth academy when it was established in 2017 and has progressed through all youth levels. He made his first-team debut in March under coach Vincent Kompany during a home match against Union Berlin. Bayern's youth development director Jochen Sauer praised Osmani as a true Bayern youth product and expressed optimism about his potential. Last season, Osmani played for both the U17 and U19 teams. Next season, he will primarily play for the U19 team to gain experience. The new contract will automatically convert to a professional player contract when Osmani turns 18.
