US, Australia and Marines drill mass bomb-building in Texas
The US Air Force, Marine Corps, and Royal Australian Air Force conducted a four-day munitions production exercise called Death Strike: Trident Fury at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, from June 22-25, 2026. Hosted by the 7th Munitions Squadron under Air Force Global Strike Command, the exercise tested combat production techniques, interoperability, and surge capacity under pressure. Dyess AFB is home to the 7th Bomb Wing and B-1B Lancer bombers, making munitions generation critical to its strike role.
