Anthropic and PwC Partner to Embed Claude AI in Corporate Operations
Anthropic and global consulting firm PwC have announced an expanded strategic partnership aimed at establishing Claude as the preferred enterprise AI model. The collaboration focuses on integrating Claude into the operational infrastructure of large corporations across various industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences. PwC will deploy Claude Code to accelerate agentic technology development and improve deal-making processes. A key component of the agreement involves building AI-native, scalable operating models and training 30,000 PwC professionals in the U.S. through a jointly run Center of Excellence. Live deployments are already active, demonstrating significant efficiency gains: underwriting cycles in insurance have been reduced from weeks to days, and cybersecurity agents now respond to threats in minutes. Additionally, Claude is being utilized in professional sports for digital fan engagement. This move aligns with Anthropic's strategy to boost enterprise AI revenues amid reports of a potential $30 billion funding round at a $900 billion valuation. PwC also plans to provide Claude access to hundreds of thousands of its employees globally, reinforcing its internal AI assistant, ChatPwC.
