Angola to Host Africa's Sovereign Wealth Summit in 2026

The Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF), in partnership with the Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA), has announced that Luanda, Angola, will host the ASIF 5th Annual Meeting from July 5 to 7, 2026. The event, themed 'Strategic Allocation in a Constrained World - Leveraging Africa's Resources for Its Structural Transformation,' will convene representatives from ASIF’s 17 member sovereign wealth funds, senior government officials, international institutional investors, and global thought leaders. The summit aims to advance a continental agenda focused on strategic, self-financed development. Angola’s selection as the host underscores its growing significance as a hub for long-term investment and economic diplomacy in Africa. The country is actively shifting towards robust institutional capital management, with FSDEA positioning itself as a diversified investor across key sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, real estate, and financial markets.
