Alkane Resources Reports Record Q3 Profit of $93 Million
Alkane Resources Limited announced its financial results for the third quarter ended March 31, 2026, reporting a record net profit of $93 million, or 6.81 cents per share. The company achieved record revenues of $274 million, driven by gold equivalent sales of 43,373 ounces at an average realized gold price of A$6,315 per ounce and an average antimony price of A$34,394 per tonne. Production also hit historic highs, with 44,669 ounces of gold and 377 tonnes of antimony produced, keeping the company on track to meet its 2026 guidance. EBITDA and cash generated from operating activities both reached $161 million. Alkane ended the quarter with a robust financial position, holding $374 million in cash, bullion, and listed investments. Managing Director Nic Earner attributed the strong performance to high commodity prices and the effective operation of the company's three-mine portfolio. He noted that the substantial cash and bullion balance of $362 million would support future growth plans. The results reflect the continued integration following the merger with Mandalay Resources completed in August 2025. Management will discuss these results in a conference call scheduled for May 15, 2026.
