Ajinkya Rahane announces retirement from international cricket
Senior Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane, aged 38, announced his retirement from international cricket on July 30, 2026, with immediate effect. Rahane played 85 Tests, 90 One Day Internationals, and 20 Twenty20 Internationals for India since his debut in 2013. He last represented India in the 2023 away Test series against the West Indies.
