How does retirement settlement differ from incomplete match rules?
In the W35 Heraklion tennis match between Charlotte Pikkaart and Swasthika Arunkumar, the -1.5 set handicap market prices Pikkaart at 99.5%, but if the match is canceled or incomplete, the market resolves 50-50. If Pikkaart advances due to opponent retirement, the market resolves to the advancing player, not 50-50. How does the settlement rule for retirement differ from that for other incomplete matches, and could this discrepancy cause market pricing to diverge from actual outcomes?
