BILD Catches New Signing: Leo Sauer Already at VfB Stuttgart
German tabloid BILD reports that VfB Stuttgart has secured the signing of Slovak winger Leo Sauer from Feyenoord Rotterdam. The 20-year-old completed his medical examination on Wednesday morning and was driven to the club's business office to sign a contract until 2031. The transfer fee is 12.5 million euros, with potential bonuses. Sauer, who scored three goals and provided two assists in 20 Eredivisie appearances last season, also impressed in the Europa League. He was courted by TSG Hoffenheim and Benfica Lisbon but chose Stuttgart. Known for his physical strength and dribbling, Sauer notably helped Slovakia beat Germany 2-0 in September. He is now set to play in the Bundesliga.
