Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch ruled that the police shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley was a justified use of force. The ruling means the officer will not face state-level charges. The family's attorney, Ben Crump, cited an independent autopsy contradicting the official account and demanded release of body-camera footage, while also highlighting racism complaints within the Senatobia Police Department.
