The six-rotor, four-seater electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft took off from a high-rise rooftop in the Lujiazui area and circled major landmarks, including the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, and World Financial Center. This achievement marks the first time an eVTOL has conducted such a flight in Shanghai, China’s largest city by economic output. The vehicle features a unique two-in-one design with foldable wings and components.
