WELP and H.P. Wüst Unveil Mobile C-UAV Defense Platform on Toyota Land Cruiser
The WELP Group, in collaboration with H.P. Wüst, has introduced a highly mobile Counter-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (C-UAV) defense platform based on the armored Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Presented at the Enforce Tac exhibition, the vehicle garnered significant interest from security and military representatives. The system integrates HENSOLDT’s Elysion C-UAS Mission Core software, which serves as the central command and control element, offering sensor data fusion, automated threat detection, and real-time situational awareness. The platform employs a continuous sensor-to-effector chain, utilizing radar, RF detection, and optical systems to identify and neutralize drone threats in dynamic scenarios. Designed for high mobility and protection, the vehicle meets VPAM VR7 ballistic standards, with optional upgrades to VR9, and complies with STANAG 4569 for mine and grenade protection. An ergonomically optimized, protected operator workstation allows for intuitive control via monitor and joystick. This versatile solution addresses diverse security needs, including critical infrastructure protection, airport security, border control, and convoy escort, providing emergency services with a robust capability to counter aerial threats in rapidly evolving operational environments.
