Venipak Invests EUR 16 Million in New Vilnius Logistics Terminal
Venipak is strengthening its logistics infrastructure in Lithuania by constructing a new, modern terminal at Liepkalnis Logistics Park in Vilnius. The project represents a total investment of EUR 16 million, covering land acquisition, construction, and advanced operational systems including a high-speed conveyor belt. Developed by Sirin Development under a built-to-suit model, the 13,500 square meter facility will consolidate Venipak’s currently scattered operations in the capital into a single hub. Scheduled to begin operations in the first half of 2027, the terminal aims to significantly increase parcel handling capacity and optimize internal processes. It will feature 24 truck gates, 70 van gates, and the ability to process up to 6,000 parcels per hour. This expansion is expected to enhance service quality for customers in both Lithuania and Estonia, as a significant portion of shipments to Estonia originates from Vilnius. The new site will also prioritize energy efficiency and employee wellbeing, accommodating 150–200 staff members. This move follows the recent opening of Venipak’s largest previous terminal in Kaunas, underscoring the company’s continued growth and commitment to modernizing its Baltic logistics network through strategic partnerships with specialized real estate developers.
