Vector Researchers Win Top Honors at NeurIPS 2022
Researchers from the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence achieved significant recognition at the 2022 Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS). Two papers received top honors: "Photorealistic Text-to-Image Diffusion Models with Deep Language Understanding," co-authored by Faculty Member David Fleet, won the Outstanding Paper Award for its advancements in generative AI. Additionally, Geoffrey Hinton’s seminal 2012 work on ImageNet classification received the Test of Time Award, acknowledging its lasting impact on computer vision.
