G.K. Vasan Blames DMK Government for Soaring Prices in Tamil Nadu

G.K. Vasan, the president of the Tamil Maanila Congress, has strongly criticized the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government in Tamil Nadu, holding it solely responsible for the recent surge in essential service costs. He accused the administration of failing to fulfill the promises made to voters during the 2021 state elections. The remarks were delivered while Vasan was campaigning for S.P. Velumani, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) nominee for the Thondamuthur constituency. Vasan praised Velumani as a familiar and effective leader who contributed to the progress of both Coimbatore and the broader state during his tenure as a minister.
