Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Meets Governor to Discuss School Reopening Initiatives

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of Telangana met with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at the Lok Bhavan in Hyderabad to discuss upcoming state initiatives tied to the reopening of schools on June 12. During the meeting, the Chief Minister invited the Governor to attend a program featuring a mass pledge against tobacco, alcohol, and drugs, alongside the distribution of educational kits to students. CM Reddy briefed the Governor on the new scheme, which provides uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, school bags, sportswear, and other essential study materials to support student education. Furthermore, the discussion addressed critical measures to combat the drug menace within educational institutions. The Chief Minister outlined instructions issued to school and college management teams, urging them to remain vigilant and implement strict protocols to prevent students from falling prey to drug abuse. This meeting highlights the state government's dual focus on enhancing educational resources through material support and ensuring a safe, substance-free learning environment for students as the new academic term approaches.
