Telangana Government Forms High-Level Committee to Resolve Ailapur Land Dispute

The Telangana state government has established a high-level committee comprising senior bureaucrats to address the ongoing controversy surrounding disputed lands in Ailapur village, located within the Ameenpur mandal. This administrative action follows recent enforcement measures by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), which demolished a guest house, an apartment complex, and other structures in the area last week. The newly formed committee is chaired by the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. Its membership includes key officials such as the Law Secretary, the Commissioner of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), the Commissioner of Survey & Settlement, the Secretary of Registration & Stamps, the Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, and the Sangareddy Collector. The primary mandate of this body is to investigate the land disputes thoroughly and submit a final report with recommendations within eight weeks. This move aims to provide a structured resolution to the legal and administrative complexities arising from the recent demolitions and conflicting land claims in the region.
